More Twinkling H20's and an added 'twist' -- Water Color Pencil!!! You'll make three beautiful all-occasion cards. We'll be doing some new techniques for this class. For the first card, we will 'paint' the stamp (Hero Arts) with Twinkling H20's and stamp the image on water color paper. Depending on the amount of paint/water you use will produce different effects. This is a great technique for solid stamps. The next card will consist of a Magenta stamp (butterfly) using only ONEcolor of Twinkling H20's varying the amount of water to create different shades. This is a great way to learn to stretch the paint to produce varied values. We will create two sets of wings for the butterfly creating a three-dimensional card. The last (but not least) card will be a Great Impressions stamp of a kitty sitting in a tub of bubbles uttering 'Have you ever had one of those days?'. The look on his face is priceless. For this technique, we will continue with the theme of 'stretching' our painting medium because we will only use ONE main color (black Water Color pencil) to create different values of grey. It is monochromatic except for the little bit of pink for the ears and nose. (Oh, a band of red in Twinks for the tub, too).
Don't let this water color scare you -- even if you've never picked up a brush before (and also for those of you that have), you will enjoy painting and be very pleased with the results. This class will be taught by Salli. Class Supplies Needed: #1 Liner and #2 Round Water Color brushes, paper cutter, scissors, and adhesive of choice.
