My image will not appear in my article, what is wrong?
It could be a couple of reasons why your image is not appearing or that you see a red x instead of the image. Here are some steps to make sure that your image appears:
1) Make sure that your image is saved as a jpg, gif, png, or bmp format.
2) Make sure that the image is an RGB and not a CMYK color mode.
You need to open the
image in your editing software program (i.e. Photoshop) and change the
image mode to RGB. If you are using Photoshop then you would select
Image > Mode > RGB Color.
3) Make sure that the file size of your image is not to large.
The larger the file size, the longer it takes the image to upload. Sometimes during the uploading of your image it will lose the connection and it will not finish uploading the entire image.
Open the image in an editing software program (i.e. Photoshop) and make the file size of your image smaller. This will definitely increase the time it takes in uploading your image.
Don't have a photo editing program on your computer? I
recommend a free online photo editing program called pixlr.com. You can
import your image, crop it, rotate it, and save it back onto your
computer hard drive. Once you edit your image, then you can import it
into your article within your email newsletter template. Visit
pixlr.com.
