Do I need to know HTML to create an email newsletter?
Absolutely not! You will be able to create beautiful html newsletters by simply pasting your content in to any one of our custom designed templates.

Is there a cost to customize Email Contact templates?
No way! You can add your own logo and pictures, change text color size and type. You can add or remove paragraphs as needed.

How long will it take me to create a newsletter?
That all depends on your internet connection speed, the size of the images you use, and the length of your articles. Some newsletters may take less than 15 minutes to put together, while others may take you an hour or two.

If you want to break up your newsletter creating time into several sessions, go ahead. Your saved work will be available to you whenever you log in.

How many images can I have in my newsletter?
Each template allows you to place one image with each article.
There is, however, a “tree icon” to click on when in the edit mode that will allow you to link images that are located on the web. This is the only way you can have additional images in each article.

Do my images need to be in any special format?
Images need to be in either .GIF, .PNG or .JPG format (i.e., myimage.gif, myimage.png or myimage.jpg). Most digital cameras take pictures in .JPG format. Converting another image type to .GIF, .PNG or .JPG is easy, but requires separate image editing software.

Do my images have to be any specific size?
No. When you upload an image, you have the option of resizing it to fit four different sizes—Small (125 by 125 pixels), Medium (175 by 175 pixels), Large (225 by 225 pixels), or None (Don't resize my image; it's already the perfect size). If you choose to resize your image, the template will resize your image proportionately. Your image will not be stretched or distorted.

If your image looks blurry after you have added it to the newsletter, it is probably because the image was smaller than the size you picked.

What if I want to change the size of an image after I have already uploaded it?
Click the “Edit” button for the picture’s article. On the next screen choose “Upload Image.” Select the image you want to resize. Click “Open.” Choose the size you want the image to be.

How do I get images onto my computer to use in my newsletter?
You can:
• Download images from the internet (make sure you have permission to use them).
• Take a picture with a digital camera.
• Scan an existing image.
• Use a film camera to take a picture and get a Photo CD when you have the pictures developed
